Hello-I'm Caroline, thanks for taking the time to look.
Growing up in Manchester in the 80s, I became accustomed to a world outside of the mainstream; spending most of my youth clubbing at the Hacienda, inspired by its high level of industrial design and Factory records.
After moving to London I worked as a housing officer and loved living in the Capital with all its diversity and colour. A few years later, after having my son and daughter, Henry and Mathilde, we decided to move to Dorset (and get a dog, our beautiful pointer Dylan who sadly died in sept 2019 aged 12).
After having a bricks and mortar shop for a few years we decided to close and now just have our online business. The children are now both at great Universties in London and enjoying life in the city and so things have changed quite a bit for us.
I still love selling things from European companies such as Kitsch Kitchen and Omm design and my favourite designer is Ingela P Arrhenius who is the most amazing illustrator from Stockholm.
For 2020 I am going to start adding some vintage finds to my website too. I love nothing more than rummaging around finding treasures that have a bit of history to be reloved- watch this space..
I hand pick everything I sell so I hope you will love it all as much as I do.
If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hope to see you soon.
