Hello-I'm Caroline, thanks for taking the time to look.
Growing up in Manchester in the 80s, I became accustomed to a world outside of the mainstream; spending most of my youth clubbing at the Hacienda, inspired by its high level of industrial design and Factory records.
After moving to London I worked as a housing officer and loved living in the Capital with all its diversity and colour. A few years later, after having my son and daughter, Henry and Mathilde, we decided to move to Dorset (and get a dog!). I noticed a lack of interesting fun shops so I decided to put my mark on the world. I wanted to inject a bit of colour and happiness into each and every visitor and that remains my ambition.
Our adorable shop in Bridport is small but has a big personality, and I feel it reflects my liberal, cheerful and vibrant character. I will always be playing eclectic and alternative music (and a lot of Sufjan Stevens!!).
I love selling things from European companies such as Kitsch Kitchen and Omm design and my favourite designer is Ingela P Arrhenius who is the most amazing illustrator from Stockholm.
I hand pick everything I sell so I hope you will love it all as much as I do.
If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hope to see you soon.
